Bio
Born and raised in sunny, southern California, I was exposed to a plethora of beautiful landscapes ranging from grasslands, desert, ocean, mountain, agricultural and urban environments. That exposure greatly affected my creativity and artistic development. My father was an artist, so I acquired my skills at a young age and it wasn't long before I began figure drawing, portraiture, and character development.

 

My main influences range from renowned artists such as NC Wyeth, Norman Rockwell, Robert Peak, Kara Walker, and Sheppard Fairey, with additional influence from Banksy, Basquiat, Maya Lin, and David Libeskind. I have a variety of artistic interests that include illustration and architecture.

 

Their influences and styles have contributed immensely to the art I have created and techniques I have utilized over the last two decades. Being equipped with multiple techniques and styles has allowed for my art to grow and explore new routes with each new image that I create.

Since 2013, I have also been in partnership with and served on the board of a Charlotte-based non-profit called The Arts Empowerment Project, and assist with their Youth Advisory Council program. We match children impacted by violence and abuse to meaningful, fulfilling arts experiences.

​

I currently teach middle school art for Charlotte Country Day School in Charlotte, NC.
